Our founder, Majduleen Nezar AlAli, is an Arab polyglot passionate about culture and mindful living. She created YUMO to make matcha both approachable and authentic. Our ceremonial grade matcha comes from Japanese Yakibuta tea cultivars carefully cultivated on organic farms in Zhejiang, a region with a proud tea-growing heritage. Certified USDA Organic, EU Organic, and Halal, YUMO Matcha reflects both purity and tradition.
